Code of Conduct

UnifiedRoot adopts this Code of Conduct to guide all our decisions and behavior with the intent to ensure UnifiedRoot's credibility and sustainability in the market. UnifiedRoot's Code of Conduct applies to all directors, officers, and employees of UnifiedRoot.

  • UnifiedRoot will be held to the highest standards of integrity.
  • UnifiedRoot will be honest, ethical, and courteous in all business dealings and our interactions with others.
  • UnifiedRoot will keep their promises.
  • UnifiedRoot will admit their mistakes.
  • UnifiedRoot will not compete with our group of companies and will never allow business dealings to be influenced, or appear to be influenced, by our personal interests.
  • UnifiedRoot will comply with both the letter and the spirit of all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

UnifiedRoot's personal conduct will reflect these principles knowing that it has a direct impact on the trust of UnifiedRoot. To ensure the credibility of its people and their motives, associates shall adhere to the following measures to avoid any real or apparent conflict of interest:

  • No UnifiedRoot associate shall procure directly or indirectly more than 15 TLDs.
  • Each TLD procured by a UnifiedRoot associate shall be subject to the normal application, registration, renewal, and fee requirements in effect from time to time;
  • UnifiedRoot associates shall not transfer, sell, or otherwise divest such TLDs at a profit;
  • UnifiedRoot associates shall not participate directly or indirectly in any other DNS root organization (i.e., organizations engaging in substantially similar activities as the UnifiedRoot) without the prior approval of the Board of Directors.
  • UnifiedRoot welcomes people to bring to the attention of the Board of Directors any apparent violation of this Code of Conduct.
  • The Board will determine appropriate disciplinary or other actions to be taken in the event of any violation of these principles.
