Jon Hall, president of Linux International, to form UnifiedRoot Advisory Board

Amsterdam, January 16, 2006 - UnifiedRoot, the company that has created a new and simplified Internet addressing system for corporate and public top-level domains (TLDs), has appointed Jon Hall, president of Linux International, as a founding member of its advisory board. He will assist UnifiedRoot in the expansion of the advisory board with the specific task of addressing technical and policy issues.

UnifiedRoot launches new generation Internet domain names 'around the dot'

Amsterdam, 24th November 2005 - Effective today it will be possible to register top-level domains (TLDs) "behind the dot" such as .airport, .company. The Amsterdam-based company UnifiedRoot has created a new and simplified Internet addressing system allowing the registration of more logical, easy-to-remember, easy-to-locate domain names. These domains no longer need to fit within top-level suffixes such as .com, .net, .org, or country codes such as .nl, .uk, or .fr.
