What is a TLD?

A Top Level Domain (TLD) is the part after the last: ."dot" in a URL address. So .com, .org, .fr, .uk are so called TLDs.
In www.unifiedroot.com, “com” is the TLD.
With UnifiedRoot, it is possible to register, on line a Top Level Domain.

The registration Fee is a minimum of Euro 50.000,- and a renewal fee of 12.500,- (prices are exclusive VAT if applicable). This is the registration fee for a regular TLD.
For some exceptionally valuable TLD we have a different price structure.

UnifiedRoot offers the TLD holder the posibility to use the white label reseller platform. With this platform you can further explore and resell your TLD. First example of using the reseller platform with a TLD is on the site: http://www.tldindex.com

The airport Schiphol in Amsterdam has registered their own TLD: schiphol.
With this TLD they have created the following domain name: parking.schiphol.
By entering parking.schiphol in the URL address line, the visitor will be taken directly to this specific webpage.
Direct access to the requested information.
One of the advantages of creating your own domain names.
Examples on www.tldhomepage.com.
